The purpose-built Wellcome Collection Conference Centre combines the juxtaposition of a traditional façade and internal light, modern spaces with a prime location just around the corner from Euston station, making it the perfect destination if you have guests travelling into the city from out of town.
The impressive classical exterior houses a range of rooms inside, for every eventuality, whatever you’re looking for. With screening rooms that are ideal for product launches and presentations, private dining rooms that provide an ideal blank canvas space to build a beautiful theme from, and large conference spaces, the flexibility here keeps bookers coming back year on year. The venue’s state-of-the art event space features a helical staircase that connects delegates to the fascinating Medicine Now gallery and Reading Room – excellent for drinks receptions – and the Library. Elsewhere, the Henry Wellcome Auditorium is best suited to presentations, and there are a number of smaller meeting rooms and breakout areas should you want to have separate elements to your event.
If you’re looking to have food at your gathering, then the friendly and focused in house team will be more than happy to assist. From organising vegan canapes to creating bespoke menus focused around a particular theme, there really is no detail too small or too big to bring to the table here. International flavours pepper the example menus with chicken satay skewers and seared sesame tuna on offer for canapes, while mains might include butter poached hake or beetroot gnocchi. For sweet toothed guests there are a range of pudding options, from pavlovas and pancakes to chocolate mouse and cheesecake. The chefs are always willing to work to a certain brief though, so should you fancy something a little bit different don’t hesitate to ask.
Drinks options range from fruity cocktails and beautifully presented soft serves to fine wines, Champagnes and after dinner liqueurs.
