Meeting Rooms & Conference Venues

London's not short of conference venues and meetings rooms. So, we've curated a list of some of the best the city has to offer. Whether you're looking to host a small group in a boardroom, take over an entire conference venue or set up a presentation.

Updated on 07 November 2019

The bread and butter of corporate event organisers, meeting rooms and London conference venues are a must-have in your list. This is where SquareMeal excels, and with this list of London’s top conferencing and meeting specialists, you’ll see why. There are venues in this list to suit all hiring needs and, of course, budgets.

From product launches at a historic livery hall or institution to full-blown exhibitions at a congress or convention centre, there’s a venue for you. More often than not you’ll find it in a central London location. Don’t forget that some meeting venues and conference venues have bags of character and many have the facilities and space to host a memorable wedding reception or a seasonal office party event.

Wellcome Collection

Wellcome Collection

183 Euston Road, Fitzrovia, London, NW1 2BE

The purpose-built Wellcome Collection Conference Centre combines light, modern spaces with a prime location. The venue’s state-of-the art event space features a helical staircase that connects delegates to the fascinating Medicine Now gallery and Reading Room – excellent for drinks receptions – and the Library. Elsewhere, the Henry Wellcome Auditorium is best suited to presentations, and there are a number of smaller meeting rooms and breakout areas.

27 Curzon Street, Mayfair, London, W1J 7TJ

Late in 2017, gaming club Crown London Aspinalls moved its restaurant to the ground floor and opened it to non-members. On Curzon Street, just a few minutes from Green Park tube, 27 Restaurant & Bar employs a large team of specialised chefs who use British produce to deliver modern European, Middle Eastern, Indian, Chinese and Japanese cuisine late into the night. Built by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London, St Andrew Holborn is now a popular location for events, with a series of spaces to hire in the church, courthouse and crypt. The church itself is an atmospheric backdrop for dinners and concerts, while the crypt is a dramatic subterranean space for receptions. QEII Centre

QEII Centre

Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London, SW1P 3EE

This purpose-built Westminster venue is no stranger to high-profile clients. Its 32 event spaces hold up to 2,500 delegates, and conferences and exhibitions work well here. A major refurb, including a renovated façade, new breakout spaces and improved lighting, was recently completed. We’re big fans of the Churchill, whose slightly raked seating means everyone gets a good view. The larger rooms work well for banquets and drinks receptions.
