Flats at Battersea Power Station might come in at eye-watering sums but experiencing the life of residents can come in at a snip of the price if you know where to look. We are, of course, talking about eating, drinking and exploring the surrounds of this historic housing development. The wide-open spaces of the Thames-side precinct plays host to most of the restaurants and being the home to a truly international community, Battersea Power Station has attracted a whole load of different kinds of places – from casual eateries to more fine dining establishments.
For something indulgent we’d always go for the comfortable surrounds of Cinnamon Kitchen – a high end Indian experience with lust-worthy interiors, while low-key Japanese joint Tonkotsu brings its signature ramen to this corner of South London. Beyond the foodie treats of this spot there are further draws, like the boutique cinema, a handful of good bars and the sprawling communal gardens, so even if restaurants aren’t your initial intention when visiting, they make a nice detour to extend your time here.
We’ve visited each of the Battersea Power Station restaurants so that we can give you honest, authentic reviews. If one below takes your fancy, simply click through to read the full write up.
