For special occasions or smart business meetings you can’t beat the allure of private dining. Hosting your event in an exclusive space is not only guaranteed to impress guests, it also means you get the very best service tailored to your group and are able to tweak menus in line with your requirements.
Ruya – a highly regarded restaurant on the London scene – offers up top end private dining for all occasions - from corporate dinners through to mini weddings. Here you can entertain guests in lavish surrounds designed by Conran and Partners. The interiors are a combination of sleek brass detailing and warm wood accents which enhance the natural elements of the space. Plush seating completes the private dining room to ensure all your guests are comfortable throughout the evening.
The menu here focuses on Anatolian cuisine, which means dishes that take their inspiration from across the Mediterranean and all the way down the tip of the Black Sea. While the menu flexes with the season – to give guests the very best produce on their plates – you can always expect plenty of seafood and deftly spiced grilled meats.
When using the private dining room you’re able to work with the team to refine your food and drink choices. Snacks are the ideal thing to whet the appetite over drinks and include Borek, which is a filo wrapped feta dish made with carrots, courgettes and walnuts. Starters span both hot and cold creations, with one of our favourites being the confit aubergine with slow cooked onions and a tomato sauce – the perfect thing to mop up with bread.
Kebabs, grills and slow-cooked meats dominate the mains menu, but these are a cut about your average doner. Grilled tiger prawns are dressed with pickled fennel butter and a shaved fennel salad, for instance, and a 24-hour slow cooked short rib is elevated with a Turkish chilli BBQ glaze and a spiced chickpea puree.
The Ozel Room - RUYA's private dining space - can accommodate a maximum of between 18-20 guests depending on social distancing guidelines.
