About Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay

Description

Gordon Ramsay’s latest restaurant venture Lucky Cat is located in Grosvenor Square and offers a sleek and sophisticated private dining experience.

With interiors that embrace the style of 1930’s Tokyo drinking houses, the inky furnishings and polished details of the main restaurant are also reflected within Lucky Cat’s three private dining spaces. The three rooms vary in size and capacity so you can choose a setting to suit your exclusive dinner or event.

From the moment of arrival, guests will be transported onto an experiential journey. Menus include a selection of Asian small plates, with classic favourites seated alongside more experimental dishes. Carefully curated drinks pairings and an extensive sake menu, featuring 50 expertly chosen options, add something special to every dish. The gin choices will also not disappoint with a superb selection of Japanese gins available.

Private dining space Tochi can accommodate 30 seated or 40 standing and would be ideal for a medium sized celebration or a small event where you want to cater to numbers up to 50 but maintain a personal and intimate feel to the occasion.

Umi is the smallest of the private dining rooms at Lucky Cat and will comfortably accommodate ten seated and can beautifully accommodate more intimate dinners, celebrations or meetings. Round table seating also gives a more personal touch to the dining experience.

The largest of the private dinings rooms available at Lucky Cat is Sora, with space for 40 guests seated or 50 standing, again keeping the intimate feel of a private dining experience teamed with a slightly larger capacity to allow for events with a select guest list, or larger celebratory dinners and parties.

If it’s a unique dining experience you are looking for then, as Gordon Ramsay says himself, “there is no better seat in the house than at a kitchen table.'' The chef’s tables at Lucky Cat give you the heat of the kitchen and a front seat to all the action and is a dining experience to be remembered.

You will find two chef tables to choose from at Lucky Cat. For entertainment at the heart of the kitchen Kasai offers counter-style dining for up to ten guests. This intimate setting is designed to offer an interactive experience that encourages discussion from the diners with the chefs. Each element of the menu will be presented so diners can learn more about each ingredient, what it adds to the dish and how the menu is then created.

Kori is a Japanese inspired chef’s table that is designed for a more private event and can be booked exclusively for twelve guests. The chefs will guide your group through each course and will present the dishes to the table.

Gordon Ramsay

Born in Scotland and brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, Gordon Ramsay’s initial career choice was as an aspiring professional football player - a dream that was put to bed when an injury cut his promising sportsman career short. A return to college to study hotel management led to working with some prestigious names including Albert Roux, Marco Pierre White, Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon. Fast forward to 1993 where Ramsay became Head Chef at Aubergine London and was swiftly awarded two Michelin stars.

In 1998 Restaurant Gordon Ramsay opened and was awarded three Michelin stars, this was the start of an impressive restaurant collection, with the most recent UK venture being Lucky Cat.

Gordon Ramsay explains the ethos behind private dining at Lucky Cat “Whatever style event you are planning, our formula is simple: every occasion is individually tailored to meet your needs and exceed all expectations.”
