Located in the middle of the all-new Kings Cross, this three storey building on Granary Square is a light, air and laid back location to hold your next event or party.
You will find a host of event and private dining spaces at The Lighterman. Book one of the smaller spaces for an intimate lunch or meeting, or for large parties and events you have the option of exclusive hire, giving the space for 350 standing guests or 190 seated.
The Lighterman’s first floor dining room can accomodate 100 standing or 60 seated guests and is a beautiful location for a three course lunch or dinner for a celebration, or as a space for drinks and canapes as a standing reception. Guests will also be able to make use of the wraparound terrace which offers stunning views of Regent’s Canal, as well as the hustle and bustle of Granary Square.
The Canalside Bar & Terrace is also available for private hire, for smaller parties you could choose to just hire the bar area for parties of up to 60. Or enjoy the outdoor space too and add the terrace to your hire, increasing your capacity to 120.
The Lighterman’s drinks menu offers signature cocktails, along with a careful selection of gins and other spirits. A well chosen wine selection offers bottles at varying price points and for a special celebration Champagnes and English sparkling wines are included on the menu. Hot and cold canapes including crispy squid, seared beef fillet and lemon meringue tartlets would all be popular choices. Or for a seated event, choose from the breakfast set menu for a morning gathering or dive straight in with the lunch and dinner set choices.
