This listed Victorian building (London’s first purpose-built gymnasium) is D&D London’s best-looking venue. The groundfloor Grand Café is a softly lit art-deco affair, with light marble floors. At either side of the space, staircases lead to a more formal mezzanine restaurant which can be hired exclusively. Smaller groups can hire the semi-private space on the same level. The middle-European influenced food wins plenty of plaudits.
