Boutique bastion Malmaison has a characterful London venue based in an old nurses’ home on the eastern fringes of Clerkenwell. The hotel’s event spaces include a modern conference room that will seat 45 delegates theatre style and a more intimate boardroom for 15. Fresh from a major refurbishment, the Mal Lounge on the ground floor can be hired exclusively, accommodating drinks receptions for up to 150 guests or dinner for 48. Downstairs is the in-house restaurant Chez Mal, specialising in cut-to-order USDA Black Angus. The private dining room can hold 14 and booths in the main restaurant seat up to eight guests a piece.
