A striking and characterful venue, the London Transport Museum is in a prime location on the famous Covent Garden Piazza. Originally a Victorian flower market, its galleries make an impressive backdrop for evening receptions and dinners, mixing old and new interiors with displays of iconic transport posters and original artwork celebrating the red London bus. Well located, close Covent Garden and Leicester Square stations, the venue is easy to get to.
There are three great spaces for hire at the museum which are the galleries, theatre and foyer, and the upper deck. All of the spaces have accessible access and the largest capacity for the entire museum is the standing reception area at 500 places. The rooms feature the latest meeting technology and offer the attendees complimentary museum access during the day and evening. The rooms are ideal for hosting registration, meetings, and networking within a fun, informative environment.
The galleries are an interactive event space with cool exclusive access to the two floors of transport history exhibitions. There are over 300,000 transport artefacts in the museum that guests can peruse in between meetings and networking. You can choose from six pre-approved caterers to create bespoke menus to suit the needs of guests. Clerkenwell Green is one of the caterers, based out of Hoxton in east London with great seasonal ingredients for large-scale corporate events.
The purpose-built Cubic Theatre is well suited to conferences and presentations, with state-of-the-art AV and a breakout area for registration and catering. The space will comfortably fit 120 people. All audio visual equipment is included with playback capability and 4K screen resolutions.
The upper deck café and bar offers gorgeous view over the square, allowing natural light to stream in. This space at the front of the museum works well in conjunction with the Cubic Theatre for breakout sessions, receptions, and networking events.
