The Maiden’s Barn is fully registered as a wedding venue and is a standout venue for hosting indoor and outdoor weddings. There are several stunning spaces for couples to hire for their special day from the magnificent Oak Barn to the Elm Barn.
The Oak Barn is well-suited for hosting standing receptions and cocktail hour, for up to 200 guests. The barn brings in plenty of light, as a light and airy venue space that makes a great blank canvas for a whole host of themes, from elaborate flower displays to stripped back minimalist vibes. There are three sets of double doors, which make the venue ideal for indoor/outdoor affairs on warmer days.
The Elm Barn is the oldest area of the entire venue and is a stunning sight to behold; the architecture is stunning with high ceilings and well-preserved wooden beams, holding sweeping chandeliers. The Elm Barn also gets flooded with natural light, courtesy of the tall double windows, which makes for great photos too.
For the actual ceremony, there are a range of options of available from church weddings to barn ones. The local parish is in close proximity to Maidens Barn for religious weddings while the Oak Barn makes a stunning backdrop to any wedding. The Oak Barn can accommodate up to 200 seated guests and seating can be arranged in rows of chairs on each side. On sunnier days, outdoor ceremonies can be arranged, for couples wanting the beautiful Essex countryside as the backdrop to their special day.
