The wedding venue can be utilised in several ways, with possibilities for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, receptions, and more. Indoor, there are three main spaces to choose from. The Tower tends to be used for wedding ceremonies, as it has a church-feel to its architecture while the Great Hall is a grand, but charming space with a high vaulted ceiling, exposed wooden beams, and a fireplace. The Coach House is good for more low-key, rustic style functions with a barn-style setup and exposed red brick.
All of the spaces have their own unique features, so that couples can find the space that suits them best, plus the rooms can be decorated to either enhance the features or provide a wonderful canvas for themes and novel decor ideas.
The Light Oak Room is a superb option for hosting standing receptions. Plus there is a converted cellar, which is a great option for hosting the after party in – the cellar has a more modern design than the rest of the house, providing a lovely contrast to the characterful house.
Outdoor ceremonies are also very popular at Leez Priory, due to the stunning grounds of the Manor House which encompass 40 acres of private land. There is an inner courtyard, replete with a croquet lawn, for hosting alfresco receptions with a view of the lakes and surrounding wooded areas – providing a great background for the pictures.
