A ‘wedding with a view’ will certainly be guaranteed at this 28 storey-high rooftop restaurant and event space. Galvin at Windows after all sits on top of the tallest building in Mayfair. And to make the whole thing feel even more regal Galvin is the only venue in the area with a view of Buckingham Palace.
Treatment will be royal, too, with Michelin star food being served by chef patron Chris Galvin and head chef Joo Won. The latter’s accomplished fusion cooking integrates Korean influences with the very best of French haute cuisine. Everything is superbly managed by Maître d'hôtel Fred Sirieix (you might recognise him from Channel 4’s First Dates), who has won an impressive 30 awards for his service.
Both small and large weddings are made possible at this beautiful venue. The semi-private dining room, The Balcony, is ideal for a more intimate wedding breakfast. It seats up to 30 and has the flexibility of different configurations. It is raised and set apart from the main restaurant, offering not only a commanding position over the dining room and undisturbed views of the city, but also an outlook on the impressive wine wall.
Alternatively, you can hire the handsome restaurant, which can accommodate 150 for dinner or 200 for a drinks reception. If you’re only thinking a reception, we would recommend The Bar, which is home to an exceptional array of premium wines and spirits as well as classic and bespoke cocktails. Both rooms come with wrap-around windows allowing for those incredible London views.
Exclusive hire of the whole venue is also possible.
