About

When it opened in 1935, the Lansdowne was one of the first members clubs to admit men and women as equals. Today, its doors are open to non-members for weddings. Ceremonies take place in the Adam Room, beneath a magnificent chandelier. The Courtyard is a handsome spot for champagne receptions and photographs, before the party moves through to the Ballroom. Here, two minstrel galleries and a vaulted gold-leaf ceiling help make a memorable setting for breakfasts and evening receptions.
