This once-nondescript pub has been stripped back to reveal the original tiled walls & mouldings of a hostelry that first launched when Queen Vic was a lass. Plausible grub such as steak sandwiches, charcuterie plates, chilli con carne & traditional beef & ale pies can be washed down with a workaday selection of beers & wines & during the summer there are barbecues in the large rear garden.
