When first created in 1926 the Kingsway was originally a small terraced hotel. In the 1960s the Kingsway was redeveloped by a local architect.
The same family owned the hotel for almost a 100 years until 2020 when it was purchased by a local family who see themselves as the new ‘custodians’ of the Kingsway.
Many of the team have worked at the Kingsway for several years. Providing exemplar service to the guests is of utmost importance and they do everything to make this possible. Nothing is too much trouble for our valued guests.
