With a rather unprepossessing warehouse setting (above a Chinese supermarket & overlooking Liverpool docks) & an interior that can seat 250, this is one of Liverpool’s largest Chinese restaurants, but don’t be put off. Tai Pan serves some of the best, most authentic Chinese food in the North. Seafood is a particular strength, while the dim sum first rate – & is especially popular on Sundays when you can expect to queue. There are anglicised set menus, which range from £16 to £26, & offer the likes of skewered lamb with satay sauce, chicken with cashew nuts, & sizzling fillet steak Cantonese style; the more adventurous should try the Chinese-only menu. Please stop using plastic box for taking away food, the food smells plastic and its bad for enviroment

The food is actually very good. The roast duck is one of the best. But one thing is really annoying me is the food containersthey are using. The plastic boxes really put me off. Not only the food smells plastic, but also so many plastic boxes have to throw away after one order. The food I had ordered were not liqid, but were stiill put in plastic boxes, terrible!

Please please please stoping using plastic boxes, go back to tinfoil boxes.

Had a delivery through Uber eats total order value 27.00 all food items were cold and i mean cold not warm ordered at 830pm got delivered at 10pm

Tai Pan.

Have dined here for many years...we eat here 2 or 3 times a month.. Well known to many of the staff and the service is excellent ...the food is very good....they will ensure you enjoy your food..any mishaps they will gladly rectify.

Solidly consistent authentic Chinese restaurant. The food is always good here and the service is smooth, confident, focused and always on point. It's a huge restaurant and even when the queues for tables are out the door, the order is never wrong! The dim sum trolleys at the weekend are great and the value for money is incredible - huge portion sizes, you can get away with a great meal for less than Â£20 a head. One to keep coming back to.
