Milton Keynes has enough culture, history and activities to keep visitors entertained for weeks on end. The Milton Keynes theatre is renowned for being one of the most successful outside of London’s West End with shows ranging from musicals to opera, and of course a yearly pantomime. Similarly the city’s largest live music venue, The Stables, has gained a reputation for being a great place to experience a range of musical genres from artists from around the world. If art is more your thing then don’t miss the newly developed MK Gallery which offers an evolving showcase of free exhibitions of international modern art. Alternatively take a trip to Woburn Abbey – the ancestral home of the Duke of Bedford –which houses a number of private art collections as well as antique furniture and porcelain sculpture. Elsewhere local museums including Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes Museum, National Badminton Museum and The Cowper & Newton Museums are all worth a visit, as are the stunning gardens at National Trust Stowe, and if you're venturring out of town there are some great restaurants near Milton Keynes to check out too.  It’s a great place for families with a plethora of action-packed activities and attractions for kids, and this is mirrored by some great offers for kids on restaurant menus too.
