After a wobbly beginning, this newish Japanese restaurant seems to have settled into its stride. It’s stylish enough looking, with dark leather chairs matching dark wood tables, a discreet sushi bar tucked at the back & the service is friendly rather than haughty. Though the full menu, featuring Japanese classics – tonkatsu, tempura, yakitori etc – is available at all times, lunchtime diners tend to veer toward the generously laden bento boxes, or just stick to freshly made sushi.
