About

Situated in the leafy South London suburbs, not far from Greenwich Park; Gurkha’s Inn is a firm favourite with local curry connoisseurs. High-backed leather chairs, wooden floors and low-key décor create a relaxed setting for laid-back lunches and dinner with family and friends. The extensive menu showcases the best of Indian and Nepalese cuisine, with familiar favourites like chicken jalfrezi, lamb pasanda and prawn bhuna on offer. For something a little different, why not try one of their signature dishes? We love the cod cooked with coconut milk, green herbs and mustard seeds, and the Khasi Khutta – tender lamb with peas in traditional Nepalese style. For authentic Indian food, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service; Gurkha’s Inn is hard to beat.

Better than average neighbourhood Indian with polite and attentive service. In a grotty side street near an evangelical church and some downmarket supermarkets but don't be put off by the surroundings as it's perfectly clean and respectable inside.
