Flock Beyond is a place for community, bringing people together over beer, burgers, board games and beans (coffee beans, of course). The shop positions itself as a break from the norm, taking guests away from the frustrations of traditional coffee shops such as paying more for milk alternatives, tinny sound systems and slow Wi-Fi.
Experience something different as you step into the Instagrammable café and bar and take in the neon sign, wall murals, greenery, and patterned tiles, all housed under old Victorian Railway arches, making for a quaint co-working space.
Open from 8am, pop by Flock Beyond for brunch alongside quality coffee and it’s a great little spot for remote working too. Stay on later for a burger and craft beer with friends or nibble on a homemade chocolate brownie or the other desserts without guilt as they are made with real fruits, low in fat and include some gluten-free options.
If you’re visiting in the morning, start the day right with a wholesome full English breakfast. Otherwise, opt for the likes of steak and eggs with spinach, a bacon melt sarnie with avocado, red onions and cheddar cheese or the smashed avocado on sourdough toast with lime, diced tomato and poached eggs. For lunch or dinner, mains include salads, fish & chips and burgers with a choice of a beef spicy burger, tuna, chicken and the signature beef burger with bacon and cheese.
The drinks menu boasts of a wide selection of coffees, teas, beer, wine and a few classic cocktails. Sip on a cuppa from Square Mile Roasters, as an iced coffee, flat white, the mini latte: a piccolo, macchiato, and more. If you’re a tea person, you can choose from peppermint, green, earl grey, lemongrass and ginger or a traditional English breakfast. A must try is the turmeric latte, chai latte and the good old hot chocolate. If you need more of a kick, any of the Fourpure craft beers is a perfect choice.
