The latest branch of Tony Allan’s Fish! group already seems very comfortable in its East Sheen home. Furnishings – the familiar dark slate & brick look, with wooden tables & paper napkins –
make for casual dining. Sustainable fish & seafood is the order of the day, so on the chalked-up specials menu you’ll find the likes of herring gravadlax & pints of prawns. Look to your
tablemat for the basic menu. Here, halibut & chips (£18.95) manages to make lobster with garlic butter (£26.95) seem positively good value, but though the prices are high, the fish is
spankingly fresh & perfectly cooked. Fish soup with rouille could kick off a meal, with Eton mess, or affogato with Frangelico liqueur, providing a rather classy ending.
