The Abbey Inn is steeped in history - from evidence of a medieval hostelry beneath its foundations to the current building made from 'borrowed' stones from the ruins of Byland Abbey. Now imaginatively restored from its origins as an 19th century farmhouse, the Inn has been fully refurbished and furnished to create a wonderfully eclectic mix of old style architecture with modern amenities and facilities.
