Kid-friendly restaurants in London

The best kid-friendly restaurants in London where you can take your family along to for a meal

Updated on 23 July 2019

Eating out with the kids can be trying at the best of times and if your London restaurant of choice isn’t geared up for children’s dining needs, it can be a complete disaster. But trust us, it doesn’t have to be this way. With restaurants that provide an exciting children’s menu alongside its outstanding standard menu, a meal out can be an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

These restaurants not only provide a kid’s menu beyond hotdogs and chips, but also offer a family-friendly environment overall, meaning no-one will give you disapproving looks if the little ones have the odd temper tantrum. These are restaurants that have formed their children’s offering as an enhancement of their establishment, and not as an after-thought. No need to hit up the nearest McDonald's here. Having the children with you does not have to mean compromising on your dining experience.

From standard dishes that the little ones enjoy the most, such as pizza, pasta, fish & chips and sausages, to more adventurous plates such as schnitzels, shellfish platters and chicken paillard, this list includes restaurants that serve dishes that will please both picky mini-eaters and peckish all-eaters.

To avoid any problems when taking your children out for a meal in London, check out our helpful guide to the best kid-friendly restaurants in London below.
