Taking the helm in the kitchen at IT London is renowned chef Gennaro Esposito who also oversees Naples’ two Michelin-starred restaurant La Torre del Saracino. His style sees classic South-Italian flavours combined with the most cutting edge culinary techniques resulting in refined but eye-catching dishes that will leave as much of a mark on your Instagram page as they do on your palette.
The venue houses two stylish private dining spaces for those wanting a more intimate experience of Esposito’s culinary mastery. The upstairs space occupies the entire first floor and can hold up to 45 guests seated and 70 standing. The décor is undeniably glamourous with art-deco flourishes and velvet banquette seating throughout. The spacious layout lends well to elegant drinks receptions and parties as well as dinners with the added luxury of a private bar and DJ booth.
Downstairs a semi-private dining room linked to the main restaurants is a striking setting for a dinner of up to 28 guests with its beautiful glass atrium ceiling allowing light to flood in and fill the space. Table layouts are flexible to match with guests requirements – from long joint arrangements to smaller circular set ups.
The venue offers a number of set menus for diners in the private dining rooms to choose from; a five or six course lunch menu and three six course dinner menus of varying prices. Stand out dishes include tuna tartare with yellowtail sashimi, Mazara prawns and oyster; and grilled sea bass with an anchovy sauce, asparagus and caviar. Desserts are equally enticing comprising the likes of a classic tiramisu; caramel mousse with banana and passion fruit; and apple mille-feuille with vanilla custard and apple sorbet.
