Shh – we’re about to tell you about one of London’s little known but fantastic private dining venues, but it’s a rather well-kept secret among events professionals. Tucked away in a pretty courtyard in the historic heart of London’s most fashionable district, Hush Mayfair is a rare find in that it’s suitably luxurious but also warm and unpretentious. Friendly staff are always on hand to recommend picks from the pleasingly varied menu, which includes hearty dishes such as confit duck shepherd’s pie, and a showstopping cacio e pepe pasta, which is made in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese at the table.
If all that sounds good, you’ll love the added bonus of not one, but two private dining rooms, both of which boast sumptuous surroundings and plenty of natural light. Whether you’re hosting a corporate lunch for important delegates, a special occasion dinner with family or friends, or you want to give a colleague an exceptional send-off into retirement, Hush Mayfair is a superb place in which to do so.
The Sir Roger Moore Room, located on the second floor, comes with its own private bar, cloakroom and kitchen, so you can be sure of utter privacy for your event. The room, which is flooded with natural light during the day and softly lit at night, features beautiful parquet flooring, wood panelling and a bright bar at one end, making it an elegant space in which to host private lunches or dinners for up to 66 guests.
If you’re happy to forgo your own bar, you might prefer Blades on the first floor. This tranquil space features a long, rectangular table in the centre of the room, surrounded by comfortable white chairs that complement the blue walls beautifully, making it a solid choice for seated meals for up to 50 guests.
Whatever the occasion, the dedicated events team at Hush Mayfair will ensure your event goes off without a hitch.
