Atul Kochhar’s flagship venue on Maddox Street on the eastern fringes of Mayfair offers a surprising choice of good-sized private dining opportunities in the downstairs floor, where drinks and canapés can be served from a private bar in the ‘Garden Room', prior to dinner for up to 50. The smaller Garden Private Room can accommodate up to 30 seated.
Food from celebrity chef Kochhar (ex Tamarind and Benares) is of course the star attraction, with fans banging the drum for the extraordinary flavours conjured in dishes that might include scallops, soft-shell crab, lamb, seabass and venison. All of this doesn’t need to break the bank, as menus start at £25/£30 for two or three course sets, but if you want to push the boat out a little, £45 and £68 respectively will give you more lavish offerings. All very pretty to look at, too.
A dedicated events team will guide you through the planning and help make sure the the event itself runs smoothly. Plans are a foot to add a retractable roof to the garden terrace.
