Housed in a tranquil location at the heart of Holland Park, the private dining room at Flat Three is an ideal venue for corporate entertaining and family gatherings alike. The team strive to create a home from home experience that has been carefully tailored to each booking’s exact requirements with bespoke menus, canapés and champagne all carefully considered. It’s an elegant yet cosy spot to enjoy a memorable meal and to toast to just about any occasion.
The décor is minimalist in its style from the mid-century wooden Danish furniture through to the carefully chosen Zalto glasses; but it’s the innate simplicity of the layout that makes it such a versatile space and enables the service team to go above and beyond to shape the setting to your needs.
The kitchen team at Flat Three are equally as accommodating in their approach and are happy to taper their menus to fit with guests’ preferences and dietary requirements. The food at Flat Three is fusion food at its most stretched. The chef team take seasonal British ingredients, combine them with the flavours and traditions of Korea and Japan, and then with a nod to Scandinavian culinary techniques create totally unique dishes that will challenge your palate and tantalise your tastebuds. From an affordable five course set menu diners could choose from the likes of Shetland mussels with preserved wild garlic; Japanese pumpkin, seaweed mole and cashew curd; and a Korean rice porridge served with jelly ear and wood blewit mushrooms. Mains could be anything from wild sea bass with January king cabbage to pork belly with spring greens or Maitake mushroom and smoked cashew for a vegan option.
Desserts are equally incongruous; almond cake with fermented milk and honey; black koji custard with Jerusalem artichoke; and cashew, seaweed and crispy potato are just some of the sweet plates that your adventurous guests will delight in sampling.
For extra special occasions wine and sake pairings are also offered to complement your choice of dishes.
