Good news: the fabulously unstuffy Soho hangout of the arts and media set offers seven spaces for non-members to book for events. Among our favourites are the Gennaro Room, an elegant showcase for the club’s modern-art collection, and the Snooker Room, which is good for discreet dinners. The latter has a staircase that leads to the Mary Lou Room, with its bar and open fireplace. The easy-going Club Room is the spot for intimate cocktail receptions.
Located on the first floor, the Club Room is a snug, informal space with comfy sofas, armchairs and coffee tables. Perfect for small drinks parties, informal meetings or castings.

The first floor Dining Room is normally our members’ restaurant but is available for private hire on Mondays and Saturdays. An ornate arched ceiling and glass roof, stunning 1970’s crystal chandelier and polished wooden floors make this a very impressive event location. The space interconnects with the Mary-Lou Room via double doors making it a very flexible space. There’s also shared access to our outside space Liam’s yard.
An adaptable yet elegant room. The Gennaro Room overlooks Dean Street from the second floor of the Club. With superb light, this adaptable yet elegant room is intimate enough for a chic dinner, a glamorous cocktail party or almost any permutation of meeting, seminar, workshop, disco etc. The Gennaro Room is also licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies for up to 60 guests.
Our second floor Mackintosh Room, overlooking Dean Street, is ideal for formal dining or meetings and presentations. The space is named after Tony Mackintosh, a founder of the Groucho Club.
Situated on the 1st floor, the Mary-Lou Room has recently been completely refurbished and is available for hire. It features a completely new bar and a stunning fireplace by the Ian Davenport wall.
The space interconnects doors to the Dining Room and internal staircase to the Screening Room.
AV: 55″ screen, Sky, VGA/HDMI/Wireless mac connections and a state of the art sound system with decks/iPod inputs.
