River Rooms at The Mermaid

The Mermaid’s River Rooms are located next to Blackfriars station on the north bank of the Thames. After a refurbishment in 2013, the upper and lower levels are now styled with an open-plan layout, contemporary furniture, LED lighting and dark wood floors. Panoramic windows span the length of the spaces, framing views of the Thames, including the Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and The Shard. Popular for receptions, private events, dinners and Christmas parties, the spaces are self-contained, and can be hired individually or together. For late-night dancing, the Queenhithe can be booked until 2am.
