Francesco Mazzei, chef-patron at Sartoria, turned the Almeida restaurant into this fine neighbourhood Italian last year. It’s just opposite the eponymous theatre, and groups can expect a dressed-down atmosphere and simple southern-Italian cooking. The private dining room has an elegant oval table that should make meetings as popular as intimate lunches and dinners. The semi-private Wine Room is the spot for more informal gatherings.
