Its position opposite the Almeida Theatre just off Upper Street makes Almeida popular not only for pre- and posttheatre dining, but also for meeting and entertaining. This is a neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Islington, with a focus on seasonal dishes devised by head chef Tommy Boland. The floor-to-ceiling glass doors let light flood in, while the semi-open kitchen allows guests to see what’s going on behind the scenes.
