Oaks Farm

Ten miles outside London's city limits, Oaks Farm is a destination for groups who want to escape to the country without really trying. Surrounded by parkland and a golf course, its own two acres of cottage gardens hide a trio of function spaces. There's the recently refurbished Stable Barn, which is good for conference-style meetings, as well as a traditional Victorian Barn. Oak beams and floor make this one a cosy spot for dinners and dancing – though a sound limiter means parties going later into the night should opt for a DJ over an amplified live band. Finally, the light-filled Orangery has fine views across the gardens, which lend themselves easily to alfresco teambuilding activities.
