Haydock Park

Set in 127 acres of scenic parkland between Liverpool and Manchester, Haydock Park has a rich heritage of horse racing. Its key meets include the Betfred Grand National Trial in February and The Old Newton Cup in the summer. Owned and operated by The Jockey Club, the venue focuses as much on conferencing and hospitality as it does on the racing. The Park Suite, split over two levels on the top floor of the Makerfield Stand – one of four stands – is the best setting for large-scale events with space for up to 500 guests or delegates for dinners, conferences or parties. The Final Furlong bar beneath it works well as breakout space or for a pre-dinner drinks reception, holding up to 300 standing guests. There’s a host of suites and boxes for smaller events including themed Christmas parties – with a variety of package options available – while Wi-Fi and parking are free.
