Exeter Racecourse

Set in a scenic location overlooking the rolling Devon countryside, the meets at the Jockey Club’s Exeter racecourse continue to attract a loyal following. The venue has invested heavily in its facilities in recent years – most notably through a multi-million pound upgrade of its Haldon Stand in 2009 – ensuring it is well equipped to accommodate events from board meetings to exhibitions. Take a look at The Denman Room, which can hold up to 250 delegates theatre style for a conference. For weddings, check out the 100-capacity River Rooms, which have views across the racecourse. On the ground floor of the Brockman Stand, the Martin Pipe bar – the largest bar area – can be hired exclusively and will accommodate around 100 standing for a reception. If you’re planning to combine business with a bit of leisure time, part of the venue’s DDR includes free access to the racing.
