Occupying part of Butlers Wharf, Cantina del Ponte delivers rustic Italian food in a trattoria-style main space – think terracotta floors, white wall tiles and a mural of a marketplace running the length of one wall. Mediterranean breads are baked daily and pasta is made on site too. Groups can enjoy specially created menus in the restaurant proper, which can be hired exclusively. With its river views, the outdoor terrace is the spot for drinks and canapé receptions.

Your staff were welcoming and helpful when we arrived and we all agreed that the pasta party was informative, fun and just right for a group of varying ages. Most of us came away with the intention of trying out the recipes at home, particularly after we tasted the real thing prepared by your chefs at the meal afterwards, complemented by a delicious dessert. The food was excellent but I must also mention the great location, the extremely friendly, helpful and attentive staff and the ambience of the surroundings.
