Tucked away through the back of a large 1930s apartment building on Sloane Avenue, Barts is a one-room speakeasy bar with Prohibition era music on the sound system, eclectic cocktails on the menu and a fancy dress box. Open for exclusive hire, with capacity for 80 guests, tables and sections can be booked in early evening and late-night slots within its regular opening hours. In the summer, the venue’s Cuban garden is a popular spill-out space. Caterer Sushi des Artistes offers light bites and appetisers, and a more substantial spread is easily arranged.
