The Ampersand Hotel

Two years old this year, The Ampersand is now a major player on South Ken’s hotel scene. Colourful interiors strike just the right balance between characterful and cool, with curiosity cabinets inspired by the local museums lining the walls of its three private dining rooms, including the Library Room, the Wine Room and the Games Room, which has ping pong. The same confident style runs throughout all three event spaces, which can be booked individually or together, hosting cocktail receptions for up to 70 guests. Informal group dining is also available in Apero, a style-conscious but laid-back Mediterranean restaurant, tucked into the brick arches of the hotel’s Victorian cellar.
