Part of the nationwide Revolution group, Revolution Bristol is a stylish two-floor restaurant and cocktail bar which finds its home in the surrounds of the Old Fish Market building.
Revolution Bristol is an astute choice for festive celebrations, whether it be the office Christmas party or simply a festive catch up with a group of friends. Large parties can hire out the entire main bar, which can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated function, and up to 380 for a standing reception.
The main bar features monochrome tiling, while cosy banquettes boast floral designs and industrial-chic light fixtures hang from the ceiling. If you’re hosting a cocktail party, guests can dine from the curated canapés and bar snacks menu, which features one-bite wonders such as shredded duck crostini or calamari with lemon mayonnaise, while slightly bigger snacks see dishes like crispy chicken wings, fries topped with cheese and bacon, and tortilla chips with guacamole on offer.
Event planners looking for something a little more substantial, but still with a relaxed feel, can opt for Revolution Bristol’s Christmas buffet. The buffet features an array of seasonal treats such as pigs in blankets with a red onion and cranberry glaze, and turkey sliders topped with streaky bacon and filled with a chorizo and cornbread stuffing – desserts meanwhile, see a chocolate brownie in the shape of a Christmas tree, and raspberry sponge cake bites.
The final food option is to enjoy a two- or three-course sit-down festive feast. Revolution Bristol’s Christmas menu kicks off with Iberico ham croquettes or a sweet potato and harissa soup, before moving on to roast turkey ballotine with all the trimmings, and beetroot ‘baubles’ for any vegetarian diners. The meal rounds off with a tempting selection of desserts such as a classic Christmas pudding with ginger biscuit custard or raspberry and Prosecco sorbet.
Smaller parties can hire out the Mezzanine level which can host groups of 50 seated and 80 standing, while a garden area, full AV and sound system, and a dancefloor are further reasons why Revolution Bristol is a real Christmas all-rounder.
