The Guildhall has served the town of Totnes for almost 1000 years and this amazing building is now available for weddings and ceremonies. The Main Chamber, Council Chamber or Mayor's Parlour are available to hold weddings and civil partnership as well as private functions and ceremonies. While photos are being taken your guests can explore this unique venue which was originally part of the medieval priory. It has since seen action as the Town Gaol, Courtroom and Guildhall. It is even said that Oliver Cromwell planned the closing stages of the Civil War from this very building.
