Halfway up Elizabeth Street in Belgravia, The Thomas Cubitt is no ordinary pub. Named after the renowned master builder, the property was the first to be taken over by the Cubitt House group, which wasted no time turning it into an elegant wedding venue. Five areas can now be hired for wedding breakfasts and receptions. For sit-down meals, there’s the 12-seater small dining room and the main dining room, which can accommodate 70 guests. For smaller weddings, the Atrium offers a bright, antiques-laden den for 20, while the Drawing Room showcases some striking floral wallpaper. For larger parties, the whole of the first floor can be hired on an exclusive-use basis.
