Her Majesty’s Courts Service was still using Warwick’s Old Shire Hall in 2010. Less than a decade later, Sanderson Miller’s Grade I-listed building makes a fine wedding venue. Stone columns, a classic compartmental ceiling and period chandeliers define its Great Hall, which dates back to 1750. The Judges’ House, built 60 years later in the Grecian style, has a choice of handsome spaces for smaller wedding breakfasts. With a statement marble chimney piece, the Drawing Room is a destination in its own right for ceremonies and breakfasts, or it can host drinks receptions before guests sit down in the stately Dining Room.
