Ranked no.2 in Newbury on Trip Advisor, the inn was purchased in 2005 and restored to its former glories
by working owners, Jonathan & Jean Nelsey. The hotel now boasts 30 modern en suite bedrooms,
all refurbished in 2016/17 and equipped to a good 3 star standard, with free wi-fi, satellite television
and film library. In addition to the accommodation we have a unique oak framed restaurant,
The Barn and relaxing dining in the bar. All our food is locally sourced, and freshly cooked,
