Set in 3,000 acres of countryside, and only an hour from London, the Jacobean-style Eynsham Hall was built just over 100 years ago. After recently emerging from a £2.5m refurbishment, the Grade II-listed mansion makes an opulent backdrop for weddings. This refresh extends to its 135 bedrooms, all of which are available to book for large-scale weddings. Of the event spaces, we like the oak-panelled Green Room best, where arched windows lead on to landscaped gardens. Outdoor ceremonies are also an option – the garden’s many fountains and terraces make an impressive backdrop. Brides will be pleased to know that there’s a beauty salon on site.
