Weddings at Bluebird are a luxurious affair, an excellent choice in the affluent neighbourhood of Chelsea. The location on the bustling Kings Road is superb, and is close to luxury and boutique hotels for guests to stay in.
The west London restaurant regularly serves up its traditional British fare for product launches, film premieres and celebrity dinners. It is also proving popular for weddings and comes with an in-house event manager who is an experienced wedding planner.
Bluebird will work with couples to create bespoke menus of food and drinks from canapes to cocktail hour, and the dedicated team are well-experienced in hosting extravagant weddings and civil ceremonies.
The D&D venue has a full wedding license and there are plenty of exquisitely decorated rooms to choose from for standing receptions, private dinners, and the ceremony itself. Plus, they do not charge for room hire, or stipulate a minimum number of guests.
Previously a car garage, the unusual venue now benefits from an extensive courtyard space out front, with room for up to 350 standing guests. Inside, in the main restaurant, there’s space for up to 230 guests for a wedding breakfast.
Then there’s the Bluebird Rooms, which is great for hosting intimate dinner groups of ten to larger crowds of 200. Each of the rooms boasts unique features, from private bars to DJ facilities for after parties. The rooms can be hired in conjunction to allow the event space to flow and fit the day’s schedule or can be booked separately.
The spaces themselves are beautiful, they can be filled with flowers, candle lights, or even kept minimal to appreciate the stunning architecture of the venue. Depending on your requirements, Bluebird can be flexible with the rooms and you can have the room set up for dinner dances, cocktails parties, and more.
