A Grade II-listed townhouse in Marylebone, Asia House offers a modern approach to wedding planning in a traditional setting. The recent refurbishment saw the front of the building repainted and added a new reception and chic limewash chiavari chairs to the venue. At the top of a sweeping central staircase is the trio of Fine Rooms. All three make features of their moulded ceilings, marble fireplaces and sparkling chandeliers, but are easily dressed with personal themes and colour schemes. The peaceful Wakefield Room – once a library – suits more intimate ceremonies and is surrounded by bookcases designed by Sir John Sloane. All of the spaces are quickly transformed on the day from ceremonial backdrops to reception settings. The whole house can be hired exclusively at weekends.
