dining areas and a pretty courtyard garden, it’s the brainchild of chef Nick Pullen and his partner Sally Daniel, who dreamt about opening a small, country-town restaurant with a focus on produce
from the vicinity’s farmers and growers – the couple even host their own annual food festival in the local town hall to celebrate what’s on offer. Nick’s thoughtfully crafted, regularly changing
menu includes dishes ranging from local wood pigeon tartare en croûte with lightly pickled vegetables and plum jus to pan-roasted Cornish brill with Brixham mussels, truffle mash, parsley root and
chives. Fine regional cheeses round things off, or you might prefer something sweet – perhaps crispy apple tart with rosemary ice cream.
