Locals love the white-washed brick wall look of this eyrie at the top of the Westgate centre, with its on-trend, exposed oak beams and uplifting [faux] wisteria trees, as well as its terrace for when the sun’s out. It’s a bright airy look whatever the weather, which means the restaurant cleverly manages to be equally appealing whether it's a fresh morning brunch or a conspiratorial dinner. Food runs the gamut of popular must-haves like sushi, sashimi and black cod, alongside small dishes like grilled avocado, popcorn chicken and bao buns or larger offerings like fillet of seabass, miso-glazed chicken or steak of one kind or another. It’s well executed, and staff are both friendly and efficient.
