I've have been here twice over the last year, and have to say the food is good, although the prices are a little high for my liking, these are London prices, but i'd eat here again, when a little flush with cash.

I was a bit startled to see that the only review here is a bad one. The Mulberry Tree deserves better than that – it is a good restaurant, formerly voted best Restaurant in Kent, and it has a genuinely talented chef in Mark Pearson.
I have been there about half a dozen times altogether, and enjoyed it each time. I was disappointed once, by a hugely over-salted risotto – I do wish chefs generally would let dishes and their ingredients speak for themselves and leave it to diners to season if they feel the need – but generally the cooking is of a very high standard indeed; fresh local ingredients inventively prepared.
It is also excellent value – there is a fixed price menu every day, generally about £17 or so for three courses, and £14 for two. Nice well-chosen wine list.
I recommend the place warmly.

First time we had tried The Mulberry Tree on a Saturday evening
arrived and the atmosphere was great
got to our table and it was all downhill from then on…took 40 mins to get a cold starter!!!
starter of crab was very salty the main courses were not great either duck overcooked and very rubbery
cod not bad but the sauce was very bland
we complained and 1 starter was removed from the bill
may have been an off night for them
wont be returning here im afraid
