The Duke of Oxford was acquired by Sunnyside RBS In April 2016. The Duke of Oxford theme and concept was conceived and created by Greg Dudd, helped by his brother.
We take pride in making all visitors welcome. The clue is in the title, 'Public House' A little place for all to take as their own.
From people finding a little quiet place to have a coffee and read the paper on a Saturday morning to those looking for great cocktails on a Saturday night; We have found a way to provide it all. With an atmosphere more like an old country pub, but food and service like a stylish town restaurant/cafe/bar.
People seem surprised to find somewhere like this in Weston. We don't think they should be. Weston is growing into a fine showcase of a modern urban environment. We have been investing here for 30 years and can see the potential of the times.
But in the end, its all purely selfish, we build The Duke to be the type of place we would like to come for a beer.
