The Anglian Country Inns group have already scored hits with venues ranging from The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe to Hermitage Rd in Hitchin, and they are staying in Hertfordshire for their latest gastropub – the revamped Cricketers in the nearby village of Weston. If the group’s track record is anything to go by, punters can look forward to excellent regional ales, thoughtfully chosen wines and eclectic seasonal food with a strong showing of fish from the East Coast.
